The powerful events on that Day of Pentecost, 31 AD were only a type of  what will happen when those rivers of living water flow outward from God and His sons and flood or cover the earth with the knowledge of His truth, His laws and His commandments (Isaiah 11:6-9).  There is another powerful message that God delivered on this Day of Pentecost that we should not overlook, for it was on this day that BOTH God’s law and God’s Holy Spirit were essentially delivered to mankind.  The parallels between these two events illustrate the consistency of God’s plan for mankind.
