Satan used doubt to deceive Eve and cause her and Adam to take of the forbidden fruit.  He even used doubt to test Jesus Christ.  We must not doubt our beliefs but we are told to hold fast to what we have already been taught and to what we have already proven.  We also are not to doubt our morals just because the majority of those in society are acting in an immoral way.
