A More Excellent Way

God loves variety . . . it is everywhere in His creation. As human beings we are no exception – from our fingerprints to our inherited genetic characteristics to the environment and individuals who shaped and molded us to our temperaments, talents and spiritual gifts. This variety is a wonderful asset, but can pose some major problems when it comes to building relationships. An overview of the relational problems and issues addressed by the Apostle Paul in the Church at Corinth, with a special emphasis on Paul’s inspired use of the body metaphor to describe the level of “unity in diversity” God expects his children to achieve in our relationships with one another (Chapter 12) and the way to achieve it (Chapter 13). Understanding what each of us bring to the “relationship table” (strengths and weaknesses) can help us in our efforts to achieve.
